Mancha Actualizacion

This is an update on my natural acne curing ways. I haven't used any form of strong acne topicals or taken anything orally that could cause me to develop a third arm later on in my life recently. I've been attempting to go easy on my skin, by taking a more herbal route.

I started with Tea Tree oil, 100% Australian. Every night for about 2 weeks, I would get my humidifier going, cover my head/humidifier with a towel, and allow my pores to dialate. 10 minutes later, I would pat my face dry, put a teeny tiny amount of Tea Tree on a cotton ball, and lightly distribute over the affected areas. I found this remedy to be quite helpful. It definitely helped the redness of my blemishes to disappear almost immediately. I didn't stop at Tea Tree oil, I decided a vitamin everyday would be a great way to get the necessary amount of nutrients throughout the day. I was very bad at taking my vitamins, but haven't missed a day for 5 weeks. Yay me!

Also, I looked up another form of supplements that I could use to control my acne from the inside, it's called Vitex. It's a women's hormone regulator, I take about three a day. I not only see a difference in my acne, but I see a difference in my monster moods. Just kidding. I'm not that scary, but I feel good. Maybe it's in my head, but I honestly think it's doing me some good. ALSO, (last remedy, promise!) St. Ives Green Tea Cleanser, (thanks Marisa!) has helped me as well. I love it. I have seen a wonderful transformation. I mean, acne for me will not go away permanently, that will come with age, but I have been able to keep it under control. I have discovered washing your face twice/three times a day will definitely help control the amount of sebum produced. I'll be honest, I used to be horrible at washing my face. I don't miss a beat now, I'd rather do that than deal with blemishes. Longer of a post than I expected.

WATER, drink LOTS and LOTS of water. It's worth it for good skin. I'm working on getting in the habit of drinking TONS of water. And, staying away from sugar. That didn't happen for me this weekend at my parent in-laws. IT was such a great Easter weekend, but too much sugar for a girl trying to cure her acne. Hey, it was the good kind of sugar.

Other than my whole update, life is just splendid. Will graduates (unofficially) this Friday. He has two more classes to take first half of summer and then he is DONE! I couldn't be prouder of that hard worker of a man.
