The Lamb of God

My father dear shared with me something very special a couple of months ago. He was personally asked to be part of The Lamb of God by Rob Gardner, sacred musical performance about the final hours of our Savior. Will, my mom, and I had the chance to see this performance (that my dad was a part of) in the SLC Tabernacle. Most beautiful musical performance I have ever seen. Here is a preview of what I love. If you get the chance, get the CD. It will change your life. It did mine.

Beautiful song! Is your Dad in the video that you just posted? I couldn't see him. But I honestly loved that. Thank you so much for sharing that with us. :)

No, he wasn't in the video. He just had the opportunity to perform live with The Lamb of God. I'm so glad you like it. There are other amazing songs on that CD. Want me to burn you the CD?

Oh my gosh! I was thinking about this only just yesterday! And I wanted to call you. OK, so kinda longish story:

My stake did a women's conference yesterday. And one of the seminars was a music appreciation one given by Rob Moffat, who is really good friends with Rob Gardner. And so he used parts of Lamb of God to make his points. And he told us about going to London to work with the symphony. Rob Gardner had asked him to come to London to be the male soloist for the orchestra to be able to hear the vocals while they were learning the pieces. So he worked with the whole choir, but then was the guy who was Thomas, etc. And then I got all excited and bought the CD because you introduced it to me, and then I forgot about it, and then Rob Moffat sang some stuff to me again and I just cried and wanted to have it so I can listen to it whenever I want. So there.
Thanks for introducing me to the play. You are awesome. And your dad is too.

and i just looked at the cd cast and i think the Rob Moffat was saying he was more awesome than he was. ;D haha. he wasn't one of the soloists. He's just in the choir... woops. my bad. he lied to me. ;D still cool to go to London and work with the symphony orchestra. that's got to be a once in a life-time opportunity. still jealous. haha

KaRynn, you are the greatest. I love that longish story. I think it's pretty funny that Rob Moffat lied, but it's cool he got to be part of the play. I wish I could be in the choir, but for now I get to be the listener. I miss you!!!!!
