Frostbite

Will has been working his heiny off with work and school. This last Wednesday Will was supposed to have a senior projects meeting, but it turns out it had been canceled. Will called me up as soon as he found out it was canceled, and asked if I wanted to go snowboarding. Are you kidding me? He has to ask? If course I want to go. It turned out to be a funnish trip. It was really cold, and we both ate it at one point. Will took a small jump, so he thought. Turns out it was bigger than he thought. He vows he will never let his board leave the snow as long as he's snowboarding. His neck was very sore the next day. As for me, I ate it when I looked back to see if Will was behind me. I saw him, waved like an idiot as I was falling to my death. Obviously I didn't die, I'm writing this. But, I definitely saw stars because I didn't hit a soft patch of snow, it was a solid patch. Ouch! It was a fun trip, really it was. I got to spend the night with a man that works so hard and doesn't give himself enough breaks. I'm glad he decided to take a night off. He deserved it. That was a pretty good day, why couldn't I get that day over and over and over again..

Ps. It took 10 minutes to get feeling back into our feet after 2 hours of snowboarding. Will thought he had caused permanent damage to one of his toes. Eventually, he was able to fully defrost.

That boy'll come up with any excuse not to have to go jogging with you, won't he?
